Cooking Demonstrations

Chef Kris Pieczonka

is a professional chef, culinary educator, and hospitality leader with over 25 years of industry experience. Educated at St. Clair College and Stratford Chefs School, Kris has worked in restaurants, catering, corporate kitchens, and major entertainment venues.

Since 2019, he has been a Chef Technologist and instructor at St. Clair College, teaching Culinary and Hospitality Management while supporting student development and industry partnerships. Through his private business; Food Monkey, Kris also provides bespoke catering and culinary services.

His passion is simple: great food, practical skills, and creating memorable hospitality experiences.

is the owner of Mettawas Station Italian Mediterranean Grill and founder of Majanna’s Quality Sauces and Oils. Drawing on rich family recipes passed down through generations, he blends classic Italian culinary tradition with local ingredients, crafting celebrated dishes that capture authentic Mediterranean flavor and heritage.

Al is a self-proclaimed “Music Nerd” with a lifelong passion for bringing people together through song.
Al’s love of music began in the 6th grade when he first picked up the clarinet, but he soon discovered the guitar was a much better conversation starter!
With his genuine personality, humble spirit, and deep appreciation for music, Al creates an atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. From classic sing-alongs to feel-good favorite's, he’ll have you tapping your toes, singing along, and enjoying the moment.
